Social Media Strategy Considerations

There are no presets for the social network marketing strategy I offer, rather, I leave it up to the client to decide where to focus my attention.  To  start, I offer suggestions of platforms, ranking them by what is appropriate considering their market and overall strategy.  For example, not all businesses would benefit from an Instagram profile, whereas they may  benefit more from a  LinkedIn presence.  There are many options available for clients on each of these social networks, and I make sure to detail each so the client can take advantage.  Let me give you a couple examples:

1.  LinkedIn has multiple aspects for businesses including the company profile page where employees can be included, each with picture, title and description.  Employees can also connect with  a platform with permission.  You may not want to offer this to staff depending on how they utilize the service.  In addition, you can join or create groups related to your business.  You can invite existing clients and partners as contacts, and to join any groups you create.

2.  Instagram is owned by Facebook, so a good social network strategy is to connect a corporate Instagram account with the business Facebook page, all managed in the Facebook Business app.  Advertising, boosting and marketing can be accomplished either individally, or through the business management app.  Businesses can create public or private groups which is a good way to set up Q&A for existing or potential clients.

3.  Twitter offers "Spaces" now, which is similar to Clubhouse.  Businesses create topics, set up a schedule, and "run" discussions onliine through their twitter feed.  Regular discussions can be  established, which is an execellent way to build up your brand.  Typical discussions should be run by someone inside top management, or who has been properly  trained in this system.  Twitter advertising should also be considered and implimented if the budget  warrrants.

4.   There are a myriad of picture related social networks including Pinterest, Flickr, Instagram, Snapchat.  Each one has its advantages over the other and all should be considered in a comprehensive strategy.

5.  Video-related social networks can be a powerful tool and must be considered for the active online business.  Some of these networks include YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo, Rumble, Odysee, which are  standalone video apps, and other platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, MeWe, Minds and so on.  As an expert video creator and editor, I offer additional creation and editing services.
